I'm a nineteen-year-old college student looking to become a zookeeper. I started crocheting during summer break and fell in love with amigurumi! Now I'm looking for new projects to conquer, cuter animals, cooler people, and sweet clothes to crochet!
I'm at the stage where I'm writing my own patterns now, and I'm really excited about how things are turning out. I'm trying to get better at crochet and maybe make a few bucks on etsy while I'm at it. I do take custom orders and am working on starting my etsy shop. :)

I'm not sure if anyone will be reading this, but I think that it's time to get down to crocheting again. I've been crocheting on and off this year, and I have produced a fair number of things. What I haven't been doing is actually posting pictures on the web and getting creative enough with my work.
A friend of mine inspired me with a gift of the book Voodoo Maggie's Adorable Amigurumi book. Within the book is a dragon pattern that first inspired me to started crocheting. I took it as a sign to get the ball rolling again. I have two jobs and an internship now, but I'm more determined than ever to keep improving my crochet skills, and hopeful

My first art show

On the 22nd of last month I was in my first legit art show. I had 65 dollars in sales! ^ ^ It was pretty fun. I won the best student artist award. Wow, go figure. I'm totally going to hang it up. I was apparently good enough for older-than-me-professional artists to want to do trades with me. :D I traded a hedgehog for a really nice piece of felted artwork and three poke'balls for three small framed prints from another artist. I got a black and white print of a forest trail from the silent auction and bought a small wooden photobox. So, I did spend some money at the show, but hey, it's hard not to do things like that. >.>
